what kind of laptop is it? im not sure what MadBoot is, but usually
all you have to do is insert your debian disk, and either select boot
from cdrom in the bios, or press esc, or F10, or F12 or something to
get a list of boot devices. the debian disk will let you partition and
format the drive before installation.
