[CALUG] upgrades for a newbie

i recently did it by following this guide:
http://slackware.bgbits.com/slackware/slackware-current/UPGRADE.TXT

you can upgrade pretty easily with swaret too, its sort of like emerge
on gentoo. just be sure to exit X first.

also, slack 10.2 doesnt ship with gnome anymore, so if you want it,
you'll have to get it on your own.
i recommend dropline gnome. there are some problems building hal/dbus
on slackware when installing garnome.
dropline works really well for me.
