Keep in mind that those are probably distro specific. Those look like the
RH7.3 compatibility libraries for RH9 (which is quite dated itself).
On RHEL 4.3, the gcc/libstdc++ compatibility libraries are called:
compat-libstdc++-296-2.96-132.7.2
compat-libgcc-296-2.96-132.7.2
They don't include the 2.96 c/c++ compilers or the 4.0 version of the
berkeley db though.
