Also Thunderbird, by default, blocks remote images from loading in
emails to help fight web bugs. You have to hit a "Show Images" button to
allow them to load if you know the email is legitimate. Thunderbird's
junk filter can take a while to train, but once you have it working,
it's great. Also, backing up your Thunderbird profile also backs up the
junk mail training data so you don't loose anything!
