CALUG Members:

I know there are some excellent system administrators reading this.  I have 
been subscribed to this list for years just keeping up with the community. 
Well we again have a critical need on one of our programs at the Ops 1 
building NSA.  If you know anyone with the qualifications and the required 
NSA clearance (including the polygraph), please forward that person my 
address.  Thank you.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph



Job Description:

Installs server and client hardware and software, conducts system upgrades, 
evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. 
Performs system backups and recovery, maintains operating system 
configuration.  Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with 
server hardware, applications, and software integration.  Maintains user 
accounts, data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data 
integrity.  Conducts training, maintains documentation, and provide front 
line for IT related problems.  In support of a 24 x 7 operational 
environment, after hour call-ins are possibilities.



Degree/Experience:

A degree in a computer-related area is desired.  An MCSE and/or UNIX 
certification is desired.  5 years of experience as a UNIX system 
administrator is required and at least 5 years of experience in 
NT/XP/Windows2000 system administration is required.  Familiarity with 
NetApps servers and Veritas software.  Must have working knowledge of LINUX 
and networking.



Specific Requirements:

Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation 
and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.



Skills:

-     Ability to learn quickly, listen intently, and solve analytical 
problems creatively

-     Ability to read and understand scripts

-     Sufficient knowledge of UNIX, LINUX, and Windows to be able to work 
independently

-     Ability to present project status, both orally and written
